Frequently Asked Questions - Eastern Shore Harvest Food Festival
If I can’t attend the event, can I get a refund?
Our official policy is no refunds. On a case-by-case basis, we can give refunds up to 48 hours before the Harvest Food Festival begins (October 23 at 12pm). This is because there is a limited number of tickets and we want to ensure that those truly interested are able to purchase tickets.
What do I get for my ticket?
Your ticket includes access to the event, 10 food tickets, 4 sampling beverage tickets, and a take-home engraved wine glass.
Can I purchase more food or drink tickets?
Yes, they will be available for purchase by cash or card.
I booked my 2 hour time slot, can I stay at the festival longer than that?
Food and drinks will be served for the duration of your booking time (i.e., 12-2pm or 3-5pm). However, you're more than welcome to stay to finish up and socialize for an additional half hour.
What happens if the festival gets rained out?
This is a rain or shine event. There will be a large tent covering the food and beverage stations. Dress to be outside for whatever the weather brings - in true Nova Scotian style!
I have a dietary restriction or food allergy, can it be accommodated?
Due to the scale of the event, we won't be able to make custom dishes for food allergies or dietary restrictions. However, we will have food allergen information available so that you can choose which dishes are safe for you to eat or not. Your food tickets can be redeemed at any food station. We will have a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian food stations.
Will I be able to make purchases from Lupin Pantry at the event?
Yes, Lupin Pantry goods will be available for sampling and purchase.
